I know how ICKY this looks to some -- for ME, it was a little off-putting seeing numbers out there in the businesses of the coaches on our team! There are sooooo many business owners of various other companies out there who flash stacks of cash all over social media, talk about "gettin' this cash" (because the ghetto-er you talk, the more people believe you, right? Lol), and basically throw money in people's faces and I'm sorry but that's TACKY AS HELL! You won't EVER see that from me....Beachbody coaches have INTEGRITY ;)

Beachbody Masters Miracle - BE THE CHANGE!

I am so proud to announce that Team Beachbody has locked arms with Upward Bound House, a non-profit organization in Santa Monica, CA that provides housing and services for homeless families with children, to be an agent of CHANGE collaborating both the health and fitness and social services fields to help people live healthier, more fulfilling lives while getting homeless families with children off the streets and into homes by the new year! I am BEYOND ECSTATIC to be a part of something so amazing! JOIN ME! Crock-Pot Chicken Taco Chili!

My first-ever Crock-Pot recipe was a SUCCESS! It came out so amazing that I just HAD to share the recipe! I left out the taco seasoning and ran out of onions but it still came out so delicious! I made mini tacos with this chili for dinner tonight! It's definitely going to be a staple at my house! Simple, healthy, and delicious! Fit tip: opt for low-sodium when working with canned foods!

Chicken Taco Chili:

1 onion, chopped
1 16-oz can black beans
1 16-oz can kidney beans
1 8-oz can tomato sauce
10-oz package frozen corn kernels (or 2 small cans)
2 14.5-oz cans diced tomatoes w/chilies (I used regular tomatoes)

Feeling salty about salt

Grabbed this goodie while at the store today. First time trying it! I've been curious as to why Himalayan salt is all the rage in my health and fitness community. Here's what I've learned:

It's really old (over 250 million years old), it contains the same 84 natural minerals and elements as does our body, it's created in an environment with zero exposure to toxins and pollutants, and it has a BUTTLOAD of health benefits:

Reflecting on National Women's Equality Day, I am so grateful to be a part of my Team Beachbody community. Coaching is in no way your traditional career. It is female-dominated. Women do not tear each other down but empower one another and inspire one another.
