Women who want to IMPROVE SOMETHING in their life, be it their health, their fitness, their finances, their job situation, their friendships, their relationships, their self-esteem, their mental state....women who want to SERVE others, make an IMPACT and looking for a platform on which to do it...women with PASSION but not sure what to do with it....women who KNOW that God gave them a BIGGER PURPOSE! I'm looking for women like ME!
You may feel completely STUCK in life...or maybe you have everything you want...a great relationship, great friends, a great career...but you don't quite feel as happy as you thought you should...something just feels MISSING. This was how I felt. Do you feel the same?
Before Beachbody, I was an unhealthy, stressed-to-the-MAX nurse. My food choices revolved around fast food and Hungry Helper dinners. I wanted to get back into exercise (sports were all I knew growing up) but the gym was intimidating and I knew nobody, and at home I'd run and be harassed by douchebags (I was followed home a couple of times - yeah, no thanks!). I worked long shifts and came home in the middle of the night every night, only to have to do it all over again the next morning. I was always too tired to cook so McDonald's it was. I loved my patients, but the stress from concerned family members and nurses calling off every other day (clearly stress) was overwhelming. It was hard to leave my emotions at work. I'd bring my stress home with me and I was already taking care of my mentally ill mother. Every day I'd wonder...is this it? Is this the "dream life?" Is this what I've worked so hard for? Is this what "freedom" is? Is this the amazing life they promise you when you get a degree? And, of course, I thought all my patients would be wonderful and grateful (wrong!) lol. Couple my work unhappiness with the loss of the person who raised me (my grandpa), I fell into a deep depression that I never saw myself getting out of. I was lost and confused. I felt so stuck and unsure about my entire life. It wasn't the life I'd ENVISIONED for myself. I wanted something MORE. I wanted MEANING, FREEDOM, and FUN!
After 2 1/2 years of following my coaching mentor's journey of health, fitness, financial freedom, free vacations, retiring from her permanent makeup business and then retiring her husband from his corporate retail career, on top of the endless transformation photos and stories of her challengers (proving to me that the programs work and this business is LEGIT -- I was SUPER skeptical!), I knew that this HAD to be a sign to just GO FOR IT! I'd thought about it for soooooo long...had EVERY excuse in the book not to do it! If I only knew THEN what I know NOW! Everything has changed...where I once saw nothing but pouring RAIN, I now see RAINBOWS <3 I'm no longer just a DREAMER. I'm a DOER! Surrounded by my TRIBE <3
