Make YOU your job.

"If you don't design your own life plan, chances are you'll fall into someone else's plan. And guess what they have planned for you? Not much."

I am so incredibly inspired right now.

Reflecting on National Women's Equality Day, I am so grateful to be a part of my Team Beachbody community. Coaching is in no way your traditional career. It is female-dominated. Women do not tear each other down but empower one another and inspire one another. 
Women do not compete against each other or become envious of each other but work together to become the happiest, healthiest versions of themselves. And, frankly, women in this business are earning double and triple what their male counterparts earn at their corporate job.

There is no equality having to be fought for.....we are the creators of it. We're designing the life we want to live.

One of the top coaches in this business who I adore and who inspires the crap out of me just packed her bags along with her dogs, cat, and husband and left the mountains of Oregon for the tropical life of Puerto Rico. She used to drown in credit card debt, wait tables for a living, live in a tiny apartment in South Miami, couldn't afford to buy new clothes, couldn't afford to travel, worked full-time and went to school full-time, and couldn't afford to take her cat to the vet. And today (literally), she moved to her dream island, drove cross-country without having to miss work, makes 5 figures a week, bought a beach house while she looks for a long-term home, shipped her pets overseas, stayed in several hotels across the country, flew business class to Puerto Rico, did all of this with her husband by her side....and paid for all of this in cash, not once ever touching her credit card.

She was once STUCK, like many of us...like I was. But she got herself UNSTUCK by making herself her ultimate project...and the blessings came pouring in. She WORKED for what she wanted and she is living the life she always dreamed of, that at one time seemed far-fetched and unrealistic.
You know that saying, "If you love what you do, you'll never have to work a day in your life?" Super cliche but to most of us that means finding a job that gives you just enough to make you THINK you are truly doing what you love and living your passion. But, the truth is, our LIVES should be our work. WE should be our job. We should be working on ourselves, each and every day, dedicating our precious time to our health and well-being, to our minds, to our souls, to becoming the best humans we can possibly be. Our lives are what should be worked on, not saving up our pennies for retirement, or college tuition, or being away from our families 40 hours a week just for those few hours together on the weekend, or taking orders from a boss. We are the boss of our existence!

You can live a life full of passion, excitement, and adventure...for more than one week out of the entire year. Your life can BE a vacation. Make YOU your job. Work harder on YOU more than on anything else. Make YOU your ultimate project....and you can BE your job.
