The kids are back in school now so it's time to re-focus on YOU and the goals you set for yourself at the start of the summer (or even in January), and get ready to rock your Halloween costume and upcoming holiday outfits! What is the Beachbody HealthBet?
The HealthBet Challenge starts on September 5th
and ends on October 2nd, 2016. Anyone who meets the requirements of the
challenge will win an equal share of a million-dollar pot that started
at $1 million and is rapidly growing to $3 million! In addition, for
every person who commits to this challenge from July
27th - August 31st, 2016, Beachbody is adding $5 to the pot so the pot
will continue to grow until the $3 million mark! How is this real?! Beachbody
is a well known billion-dollar health and fitness company and they are
funding this bet with the help of massive TV and radio promotion and
coaches like myself who are on a mission to pay it forward and help our
peers live healthier, more fulfilling lives alongside us!
What are the requirements?
In my 19 months' experience as a coach, I've learned a thing or two about what it takes to achieve your goals. #1: It takes a decision. Saying I AM puts you a world's ahead of most who never seem to get our of their own way. #2. It takes commitment. Saying I WILL puts you in the mindset for success and I fully believe that what you put into your mind manifests itself into every area your life. #3. Health = fitness + nutrition. You cannot achieve optimum health by just working out with no regard to how you fuel your body. You cannot achieve optimum, long-lasting fitness results by eating salads all day and skipping your exercise nor by hitting your workouts and grabbing some grub through a drive-thu. You cannot FEEL your best physically nor mentally without a combination of the two. #4 Accountability is key. In my challenge groups, I have found that those who fully committed to their group, fessed up to their fall-backs, admitted their weaknesses to me and others in the group, and checked in consistently with progress updates have achieved the goals they set out for or have made huge steps forward with the right mindset and determination to continue their journey. The greatest accountability you can have for yourself is your verbal declaration and an audience! #5. You must invest in yourself. You invest in yourself with time, health, relaxation, hobbies and passions, and, yes...money. We always appreciate the things we work hard for, because, well...we worked hard for them! Sacrifice shows us what is really worth it in life, and our health and well-being - which trickles down to the health and well-being of those we care about - is the greatest investment we will ever make.
To cover the accountability portion of your success, I will get you signed up to an awesome new app (yes, it's free!) where you will check in and log your activities. To qualify for the pot, you must commit to and log in your workouts a mininum of three (3) times per week as well as commit to your nutrition with the help of a healthy, convenient, superfood-packed, dessert-tasting complete meal in the form of a smoothie (that literally saved me from my former path of a crappy diet, massive hair falling out, constant lethargy, and scary emergency hospital trips) and log in your meals with photos of your smoothies a minimum of five (5) times per week, both during the four-week qualification period. That's it! Those are the 3 requirements to rock your goals and get paid for it! You must also have a valid email address for confirmation and valid home address to receive payment. If you don't live under a rock, you should be good!
What kinds of workouts will I be doing?
The awesome thing about this challenge is that you get to CHOOSE your workout program (with my help) according to your personal goals, lifestyle, and interests! There are tons to choose from but since I am ALL ABOUT discounts and deals (I live on Groupon lol), I will hook you up with a program that is on special promo for the month of August! Each of these programs includes your healthy smoothies as part of your nutrition plan and comes as a complete fitness and nutrition pack! You have several options to choose from:
- A fun, new dance fitness program set to popular country music that is approx. 30 minutes each day for all the dance lovers out there like ME :)
- A mixed strength training, cardio, yoga, and pilates program that is 30 minutes each day and includes portion control containers to keep your food in check and help you build muscle and lean out quickly in a healthy way (and lose up to 15-20 lbs in a month's time frame)
