Quick and Yummy Pizza Recipe!

Pizza lovers of the world! Here is a recipe (along with my slightly altered, time-saving version) for a low-carb, healthy, yummy, quick, and EASY chicken pizza! Yes, it's 21DF approved! :)

Spinach and Garlic Chicken Pizza

100% whole wheat pizza crust
Extra-virgin olive oil
Rotisserie chicken (or boneless, skinless chicken breast, shredded)
Garlic, diced *I used pre-diced garlic in a jar*

Easy Slow Cooker Breakfast: Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal

Here's a great recipe taken from one of my clean eating groups! I was never an oatmeal fan growing up so I dodged having to eat it whenever I could (sorry, Grandpa!), but let me tell you, this came out totally delicious! I even topped it off with some Greek yogurt, walnuts, and honey for added crunch and sweetness! You can throw this baby in the slow cooker overnight (if cooking on low) and it'll be warm and ready to eat in the morning :)

Hammer and Chisel Day 7: Fueling Up for Muscle!

I have a dream....to have abs for more than a week! Lol! I have been fueling my body for muscle gain so I am eating almost double what I was eating before according to my fitness plan! Lucky for me, I could eat all day!!!
I may have hereditary scrawny arms but I am lifting (for the first time) and these guns are starting to grow! My boyfriend has this weird idea that I'm going to look masculine soon lol so time to prove him wrong! ;)

You SEE my progress just one week in, so what's the difference between me and you? The bullshit story you tell yourself as to why you can't have it!

Hammer and Chisel Recipe: Baked Stuffed Sweet Potato!

                                                                            All potato everything! Who else is potat-obsessed?!
 

Baked Stuffed Sweet Potato

2 sweet potatoes (washed, pierced with a fork)
1 1/2 cups chicken breast (shredded, roasted, boneless, skinless)
1/2 cup black beans
2 tsp extra-virgin olive oil
1/2 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp ground coriander
1 dash sea/Himalayan salt
2 Tbsp fresh cilantro *I used dry*


1. Preheat oven to 400F.
2. Bake sweet potatoes 35-45 mins. Cut potatoes almost in half lengthwise.
3. While potatoes are baking, combine chicken, beans, cumin, coriander, and salt in a small saucepan (I added my dry cilantro). Cook over med-high heat stirring constantly for 4-5 mins or until hot.
4. Top potatoes evenly with chicken mixture (sprinkle with cilantro now if using fresh).

Makes 2 servings

3-Day Refresh results are in!

Almost forgot to post my Refresh results from this morning!!!! This is my second time doing the Refresh and once again I am BLOWN AWAY by how fast my bloat has gone down!!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this detox!!!!!

The uncomfort of not only looking bloated in your clothes (when your zipper doesn't zip and your shirt rises up!) but feeling greasy and stuffed and gross makes you feel like a walking marshmallow! >_< I didn't even have to workout to get these results! This is purely a system of high fiber, high protein, superfoods and fluids! You don't even have to THINK about what to eat -- it's all GIVEN to you in the guidebook, step by step, day by day! Easiest program ever and little to no cooking involved! SO STOKED with my results!!!!!! ^_^
